7 day Skateboard Mastery: Before You Start

Welcome to this 7 day Skateboard Mastery Course.

We're going to learn a trick a day for a week, but before we do that we'll go over the basics to get you started if your a beginner. If you not a beginner feel free to skip this part and jump straight into the tricks by clicking the link or button below., Remember always wear protective gear as accidents are common in this sport.

Skateboarding is considered to be one of the most extreme sports and is certainly one of the more popular ones, invented by, well surfers of course, looking for thrills when they weren't skimming the ocean waves.

Boards come in all shapes and sizes, and styles to suit all tastes. Decorated in as many artistic expressions as one could imagine, they are particularly hard to choose, and even harder to master. We thought we'd put together a week of lessons from master boarders, to give you a trick a day to go from slow to pro.

Choosing your skateboard is probably where we should start, this can be a little daunting, so here is our quick and dirty on the basics. Try to make the best decision when buying your board, or your children's skateboard of course by going through this checklist:
