Paula Rego artist documentary was very good, did anyone watch this.
I saw this it was very good. Dame Paula Rego really suffered for her art. She is a painter of extraordinary talent, and her art is responsible for advancing the cause of feminism in no small way.
I watched this episode and was amazed by how prolific Paula Rego was as an artist, she has a huge body of work on so many varied topics, shedding light on the plight of the woman of Portugal.
A surreal painting made from a pencil sketch and photo references. The drawings were made during a family picnic in the French Pyrenees.
Many photos were taken as reference as the drawing was surreal and used curvilinear perspective so was not possible to capture in a single camera shot.
The family members were not included in the final landscape painting
